Wait, Let's Take A Small Step Back

About a long time before I painted the artwork in my previous post, I tried to create a full painting (with main object and 'proper' background). Sadly I didn't use any references on that one, so basically it's only based on my imagination. That's why the perspective was off, the sense of distance was way off, and lots of things were not in places. But I was so proud that I could create a whole artwork by myself. Only back then I still used the style of manga lineart and simple coloring. I had no courage to use painting-like coloring methods.
Meanwhile, I started to paint more environments or landscapes and I promised myself, I would like to excel in this area, in my drawing style. But the start was that messy. Baby step! :D
